SEL's Charlotte-NC District Manager -- Mark T. Lewis, CWT -- begins his term as President of the Association of Water Technologies. Mark is the second member of SEL, along with SEL’s Director of Consulting and Technical Services -- Bill Pearson, CWT -- to serve as the President of AWT.

Southeastern Laboratories enters into an agreement with The University of Virginia for procurement of its water treatment services and products. SEL's path for continuous improvement, comprehensive service package, experienced field personnel and value pricing structure were the deciding factors over the competition of 10+ companies.

SEL contracts with Pfizer at their Sanford, NC plant to provide their utilites water treatment services. SEL is the dominant water treatment services provider to the pharmaceutical industry in North Carolina bringing the total pharmaceuticals plants served, in the Triangle area of North Carolina alone, to ten.
June 2011
SEL intoduces its SELtrace technology, which provides online monitoring and control of inhibitor and dispersant levels in boiler and cooling water systems. Real time monitoring and control is accomplished through the use of Walchem's Webmaster controllers and SEL's trace technology incorporated into its product line.
